What kind of interns can you provide?

Our interns are current students and recent graduates from Australian universities eager to apply their technical knowledge in practical settings. They seek to enhance their professional experience and contribute fresh perspectives to your projects.

What can interns do?

Interns bring current knowledge and innovative ideas to your workplace. Involving them in meetings, projects, and relevant shadowing opportunities not only enriches their learning experience but also cultivates Australia’s future workforce and stimulates economic growth. For more on intern capabilities, contact us at hostanintern@gradability.com.au

Can I mentor more than one intern at once?

Certainly! Many of our host companies host multiple interns simultaneously. Ensure you have adequate physical space and resources to provide each intern with appropriate supervision and relevant work experiences aligned with their field of study.

Do I have to pay the intern?

Interns participating in Vocational Placements as part of their course (i.e. Professional Year Program or GAP Program) can legally work unpaid under Fair Work, offering a cost-effective solution for your business. This approach also helps develop the next generation of professionals, fosters innovation, and provides valuable work experience.

How can I operate an internship program for my business?

We pride ourselves in making this process easy and straight forward for you.

Here is how it works:

Can my intern sign a confidentiality agreement?

All interns and host companies sign a Training Agreement with a detailed confidentiality clause. If additional confidentiality measures are required to protect your business, we can accommodate those needs without issue.

What if I want to hire my intern?

If you decide to hire your intern after their placement, there’s no recruitment or transfer fee payable. They will seamlessly transition into a regular employee role and should be compensated accordingly.
